Evaluation of Practical Remake Activity:
Our practical remake was not as successful as we thought it would be, we faced a few issues when it came to editing. After filming, on the day we started our editing, we all took turns to edit to we had a chance to experiment and learn how to use premier and aftereffect. As we went through our shots we realized that there were too many jump cuts which didn't look professional, although we took many shots of the same scene.
Another issue which came up was that while filming we had the shot list however, half way one of our group member accidentally lost the sheet which meant we didn't have a full plan of what shots we needed to take, this meant we didn't seem to get all the shots we should have. We had to video what we could remember but one of our group member had gotten their phone and watched the Gone Girl title sequence to get some ideas to help us.
The positive outcome from the practical remake was that our filming came out very well and professional, everyone had a chance to film something and we all had acted very well.
Overall, I believe that our filming was fairly well as we all worked together, planned beforehand and filmed extra shots incase there was any issues.
