In terms of planning our shot types, they were very detailed but did not clarify the objects involved in the shot as well as the angles (low angle, high angle etc). His made it difficult when filming. Our storyboard was well planned as we had an idea of what happens in the title sequence for Gone Girl.
With editing we struggled in the beginning and eventually got the hang of it. After editing our shot-by-shot remake of Gone Girl we have become more confident with using Premiere Pro and After Effects as a whole. With one of our shots we weren't able to match the audio file as the shot was too short. Our group has learnt that it is essential to shoot for a longer time even if all of the shot isn't needed, that way it can be trimmed using Premiere Pro.
Overall, even though we have become more confident with using Premiere Pro I think we were at a disadvantage because of our filming as we didn't clarify the subjects within each frame. We need to work on time management when editing as we didn't get to complete editing our film also.
