Conclusions:
Seeing the target audience for these two thriller movies, I can conclude that the age rating woulds be age 15+ which is similar to our target audience. The social grade for both were the same ABC's and they both prefer left hand in politics. Although, they both have different entertainment styles it gives a wide range of types people would enjoy which is helpful for our film planning.

(26) Who is Your Target Audience

Who is our target audience?

Our target audience are mainly 15-25 year old as they are more likely to be interested in thriller films. We have chosen not to make our title sequence gender based and instead aimed at both males and females. This is because the protagonist of the title will be a female and the antagonist will be a male which appeals to both genders.

Which of your group's ideas do they prefer?

We asked our target audience which individual idea was the best in our group and the results show that they preferred Cher's initial idea because of the fact that it focuses on the more emotional aspect of thriller movies rather than the physical aspect.

(24) Individual Idea

Genre: Thriller

Initial Idea: The main character who is female leaves her house and goes about her daily business. She goes through a swamp becoming more and more conscious that someone is watching her. As she gets deeper into the swamp she begins to hear noises and becomes paranoid. Suddenly, she bumps into a male that she recognises and greets him with a smile. They walks off together and the antagonist reveals a knife from underneath his clothing.

Sound: Begins with a voice over with music in the background and fades out. When the title sequence begins foley is a main factor. When the character becomes paranoid the music increases.

Camerawork: Wideshot, medium close up, close up, over the shoulder shot, extreme close up of smile, panning.

Characters: The female is presented as vunerable, scared, terrified vs cruel, vindictive as the antagonist. The main character is not yet introduced.

Location:
Colliers Wood Swamp

(24) Individual idea\ outline for title sequence

My Individual idea for title sequence:

Genre:
Thriller

Initial Plot:
The main character who is a girl goes out in the night with her close friends to a pub, while she is having a drink she senses that someone keeps staring at her but doesn't really notice as much and continues partying with her friend. She then tells one of her friend that she needs to pop in the toilets and goes alone and while she's going she can feel someone behind her breathing hard. The person who is a guy taps her shoulder and she gasps, the title sequence ends.

Key Character 'types':
The main character is a female and a male character. The other characters are her close friends.

Location:
The location would be a pub at midnight with teenage friends having fun.

(23) Additional Initial Ideas

These are our initial ideas focusing on our selected genre

(23) Initial Creative Ideas

The main idea that surrounds our opening title sequence is a character that has multiple identities. We plan to have an establishing shot located at a busy train station to give the audience a sense of location. We also plan to have a range of shots like: an extreme close-up of his shoes walking, which slowly pans up to showing his upper body walking towards the train station from behind.

Opening idea for a film: Part 2

- Name of setting: Shoreditch High Street
- Prop and setting: Makeup and in an alleyway
- Genre: Drama
- Everyday activity: Eating in a restaurant

A young teenage girl got bullied in school but now she has grown and wants to become more pretty and good looking so she wants to get her friends boyfriend because she fancies him, so she comes out of the station and walks towards the alleyway holding her lipstick on her hand. Her friends boyfriend was waiting in the alleyway for someone so she purposely goes past him to attract his attention.

(22) Blogging Health Check 1

After seeing my grades and looking at the feedback, I decided to incorporate the feedback into my blogs. One of the main comments were that my blogs were too text-based and that they needed to be more visual. I used prezi, emaze, padlet to make my blogs more interactive and visual.
